This is from Mailerlite with title wording showing (different form: would need to set automation) and using the original html… (ie copy changes in MailerLite do NOT update)
The Mailerlite stylings are being overridden by theme style (although this could be amended? But it’s quite heavy CSS code, not easy to spot H2 headings etc)
This is created within the WordPress plug-in.
Not as clean looking? Duplication of in-line labels looks untidy
Can show form title and description (styling follows theme)
Will add to selective or multiple groups (ie. you choose within WordPress)
Not sure what happens with MLite welcome automation if trigger is form, not group?? Currently set to General only
Will adapt to block width according to page layout
Is this a good option for blog side bar? Or better done as different stacked form within Mailerlite?
(this is form ID -9)
The form you have selected does not exist.
Need to work out how to add to blog sidebar where space is restricted. This may need to be another form (and therefore automation)
OPTION 2: first add form to WordPress within the plug-in and then use short code
Form is kept very simple and words around are added in WordPress
Note: the wording on the form fields will update if amended in Mailerlite

OPTION 3: using Mailerlite Javascript snippet (easier)
Form is kept very simple and words around are added in WordPress
Note: the wording on the form fields will update if amended in Mailerlite
If the block space is compressed this is NOT responsive eg to mobile stacked view so could be a problem if less than full or half width?

Pop-up on link click: (can edit wording in the code)
Pop-up as button: Hmm code isn;t using nice styling…..
This is paragraph text, used for general body copy. It’s fine although maybe could be a little larger. This is paragraph text, used for general body copy. It’s fine although maybe could be a little larger. When it is set to be bold it also seems to change colour which implies a link which is misleading. Note you can change the size of the text from default. Not sure how this adjusts on mobiles though.
This is Heading 1: always comes in capitals
This is Heading 2: used on portfolio pages; always come in capitals however it is typed
This is Heading 3: used for side bar titles eg. Instagram, although it shows there as capitals
This is Heading 4: contrasting sections of text. Doesn’t seem to be used in many other auto structured area of the sites eg for menus THIS IS TYPED CAPS
This is Heading 5: think this style is used to show dates on the Blog pages, Share this entry and “You might also like” haven’t really used it anywhere else… should set this for use as subtitles in Blogs as it doesn’t seem to affect any text used in other places on the sites
This Heading 6: not sure what this is used for – this might be the one that is used for button text – eg buying info – I think it may show when you set popular post options in the side bar . not sure what this is used for – I think it may show when you set popular post options in the side bar
testimonial copy goes here. It’s not very exciting is it? Could be an accent font at least.
