The title painting of the series, this went through so many iterations until it arrived. I was aiming to find a loose airyness, less definition and sense of exploration. I wanted this to be light, almost meditative, but go too far and it just gets lost. There’s just enough to bring it down to earth with that deep cobalt blue. I wouldn’t advise hanging in a bathroom, but couldn’t resist this bath image! There are so many colours within this.
