Poised Earth

This one rode the complete rollercoaster of changes! There was so much at one point, but I’m always looking for something different; a new combination of marks and colours. At one stage it was too red, too bright, too strong. But shifting the colours towards a deep wine colour, paired with the soft mushroomy grey and flashes of orange gave it a point of difference. But the strength remains as it feels like an eagle poised for flight – like finding shapes within those wooden tangram puzzles. But maybe you see something different!
