The overall design is bold, but close up this painting is full of subtle variations – in the layers of the sky and the structure of the mass of dark land below. A mix of landscape and graffitti, the drips of paint and scratched areas work together for a tactile depth you want to touch. I worked as a pair with A Place called Winter and the two could be placed together if you have a large space to fill.
