Beyond Edges

Both wilder and more controlled, using expressive mark making and a build up of surprise and colour, these explore the edges of landscape. I’m interested in the idea of constructed spaces which exist more in mind than reality. Gaps create a link for the viewer to contribute their own sense of place.

Mostly painted during 2018, as well as private collections, these paintings have been used within publishing projects and by Zoffany wallpapers.
