This wonderful and welcoming event is usually a great chance for you to see a tempting variety of artwork displayed inside artists’ homes or studios for one weekend only.

This year things are a little different and I have a menu of ways you can still get your art fix and see the paintings online or in person…

THURSDAY PREVIEW: SUBSCRIBERS ONLY

Online for the first time, a collection of 29 paintings ranging from 20cm to 1.8m will be available on a hidden page on my website for first access to email subscribers only

FRIDAY: WEBSITE GOES LIVE at 6pm

The official website goes live with work from a full range of painters, jewellers, ceramicists… More images to browse than usual so you can window shop or just enjoy the amazing work on offer from the comfort of your own home. If you’re bored of Netflix or buying essentials on Amazon, this is for you! Contact each artist directly if you see something you fall in love with.

SMALL PAINTING SATURDAY

Adding a painting to your home is a great way to brighten a wall, give a finishing touch or for a gift.

If you are local and an AAH regular I would be happy to meet you for a unique doorstep viewing. Take a look at the paintings – which will be on this site by then – make a shortlist of your favourites and just turn up, ring the doorbell and stand back for your own viewing!

I will be at home 3 St Albans Avenue, Chiswick W4 for doorstep visits
Saturday 10am – 2pm and 4 – 6pm

SMALL PAINTING SHOW AROUND

[15 mins] Visit my home to see the remaining small paintings in close up detail; check out the frames and hear how my approach has changed this year.

LIVE PAINTING SESSION

[1hr] join me for a glimpse of my home workspace (usually hidden!) and watch as I talk through the changes I make to one painting as I work on it live.

STUDIO VISIT – LARGE PAINTINGS

[30 mins] See the larger paintings on display and work in progress. I’ve been painting this morning so you get my work table in its messy glory!

SUNDAY IN THE STUDIO

If you are considering a larger painting for your home I will be available at my Studio between 11am and 3pm for individual visits to see the paintings in person. This is a large 550sq ft space so social distancing is easy. You can come in person or we can arrange a FB messenger video call.
